We have put together a small but dedicated team to make your stay at Links House special from beginning to end.

Meet the team who are responsible for delivering impeccable service at one of the most luxurious Scottish Highlands Hotels.

Melissa Anderson, Assistant Manager

Melissa joined the team in 2015 as Assistant Manager with key responsibility for the delivery of our Food and Beverage and Front of house service. Melissa Melissa Anderson Assistant Manager Links House Dornochis happy to recommend the best wine to pair with your meal or arange your private dinner in our restaurant. Born and bred in the Highlands, Melissa has  woked in many local establishments as well as overseas in Australia. She recently undertook a stage in Brian Maule's Chardon D'or restaurant in Glasgow. A keen golfer, Melissa was a Junior at Royal Dornoch Golf Club, she knows the area well and can talk knowledgeably about other good local courses to play.

No matter how small your request may be Melissa and the team will be on hand to ensure we meet and endeavour to exceed your expectations and deliver an experience you will return for time and time again.

Javier Dominguez Santos, Head Chef.

Javi joined Links House in 2018 from The Rocpool Reserve in Inverness as our new Head Chef.  A prodigy of the Roux stable, Javi has made a name for himself on stages at Le Gavroche and The Waterside Inn culminating in the Head Chef role at The Rocpool Reserve. As a member of the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts since 2014 and winner of a Highlands and Islands Tourism Award, Javi brings to Links House a wealth of local and International experience.

Fiona Herd, Food and Beverage Manager.

Fiona will be responsible for all aspects of our Food and Beverage delivery at Links House including arranging your private party or ensuring your dietary requirements are met. Fiona has extensive experience within the hospitality and events industry. Previously Fiona was an Events and Business Development Executive at The Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and more recently a Hospitality Lecturer with North Highland College UHI based at Burghfield House in Dornoch

Beata Pett, Head Housekeeper

Beata  is Polish and came to Scotland in 2004 joining  the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness first as Housekeeper and was promoted to  Head  Housekeeper.  She stayed at Kingsmills for 10 years and joined Links House in April 2014  as a Housekeeper. She has been awarded the Young Ambassador of the Year at the Highland and Islands Tourism Awards in 2008.

Apart from her time away when she had her daughter Isla and her son Harry, Beata has been with us throughout this time and has been an instrumental part of our growth and success. She  was recently promoted to Head Housekeeper leading a team of 5. Beata has delivered exceptionally high standards of presentation across our 3 buildings, ensuring that each of our 14 rooms is maintained to the highest level  and  this is always reflected in our reviews and guest comments. She is a core member of the management team and always goes above and beyond her brief to ensure guest satisfaction.  She is devoted to her family both here in Scotland and in Poland

Sarah Henderson, Guest Services Manager

Sarah joined Links House in June 2015 as our very first Guest Services Manager and key member of the management team. She brings over 20 years experience of customer service to the role, having worked in banking and retail in senior customer service positions. Her excellent organisational skills and passion for service are invaluable.

Managing a team of 3, the Guest Services Team are the first and last point of contact for our guests and under Sarah’s guidance, the team have developed a finely honed process for ensuring our guests and agents receive the very best that Links House can offer. Sarah is fiercely loyal to her home country of Wales, is married to a local  Scotsman , loves hill walking,  dogs and is very knowledgeable about whisky. She also has a great deal of knowledge about the local area  which is of great help to our guests when planning excursions.

Fraser Carruth -Master of the House

Fraser joined us in 2014 as a front of house butler. He is a trained chef having studied in Switzerland and has a diploma in business management. His claim to fame is that he once cooked for Prince Charles. Fraser has over 50 years in the hotel industry and was the youngest chef to appear in the Good Food Guide.

Fraser owned and managed his own hotel in Wiltshire for 20 years before returning to Scotland in 2011. He is also a trained point to point jockey,  has competed in one and three day eventing and  still has a love of horses and is a regular judge at the local county show each summer. His other passion is for his gun dogs and he has 2 wonderful Labradors. Fraser has an excellent knowledge of wine, malt whisky and Scottish Gins which he enjoys sharing with our guests
