Ladies at Links House

The essence of Links House is well beyond golf; rather it is about a quality of life experience uniquely available in The Highlands.  We have developed a range of services and activities designed specifically for women.  Whether you're looking for a spa break, garden tour, coastal walk or exceptional shopping experience, let Links House take the stress out of planning it for you.

Spa Treatments and Yoga

Spa treatments are the ultimate compliment to the luxury of a Links House stay.  We have partnered with nearby Aspen Spa offering an extensive list of treatments either at their premises or in one of our rooms.  The list of treatments is endless however we have created our own bespoke range which can be viewed Here.

If you would like to start the day with some exercise Links House can arrange for Yoga sessions on the terrace or personal training on the beach.

Watercolour and Pastel Supplies

Perhaps you would enjoy an afternoon of watercolour or pastel painting out along Dornoch beach or in the Highland landscape. We have placed all of the art supplies you will need in our Sporting Bothy - all ready to go!

Day Hikes and Cultural Visits

Perhaps an active day of hill hiking, horseback riding, or castle and garden touring fits your fancy.  Links House can arrange all aspects of wonderful cultural visits such as Dunrobin Castle & Gardens, the Queen Mother’s Castle of Mey, Fort George or an hour’s hill hike up to nearby 100-foot tall Ben Braggie statue and simply amazing views out over the Highland coastline.

Ladies Golf

Whether an experienced golfer or novice, let Links House book your golf tee times and and/or private instruction.   The forgiving and generous Royal Dornoch Struie Course is perfect for novice golfers to learn the nuances of links style golf.

Retail Therapy - Shopping and Antiques

If you would like an afternoon of retail therapy we can suggest some quaint boutiques in the Dornoch area or we can arrange for our driver to take you to a number of excitingly authentic Highland venues you will never forget.  Nearby Scottish interiors firm Anta is a perennial favourite.   We can also arrange a private tour and lunch at Johnstons of Elgin, the largest cashmere and tweed weaver in the world.  Many of our guests have enjoyed the wee town of Beauly with Alder Arts painting gallery, silver specialist Ian Marr Antiques and the truly historic Campbell’s of Beauly tweed shop.  Or perhaps a visit to Sutherland Sporting Tweed Company in nearby Lairg who specialize in exciting bespoke tweed clothing designs.  You can’t get in and out in less than an hour!

Whether you would like a golf  break with friends, or you just don’t want to be a golf widow, at Links House we can ensure your trip to the Highlands is exactly what you are looking for.
