New Links Golf Course Being Evaluated at Coul Links, Scotland
Golf course developer Michael Keiser, owner of Links House at Royal Dornoch Todd Warnock, and the owners of Coul Farm, Dornoch have launched a feasibility study to evaluate a potential new golf course on the Coul Links at Embo, Sutherland. Coul Links is located 3 miles north of Royal Dornoch Golf Club along the Dornoch Firth at Loch Fleet.

Golf course architects, Coore Crenshaw have been retained and conducted preliminary analysis of the proposed site. The group has also conducted initial discussions with Highland Council and Scottish Natural Heritage and has agreed to launch an assessment of the economic and environmental issues related to the proposed project. Highlands & Islands Enterprise are helping to facilitate discussions. At this point no conclusions whatsoever have been drawn in respect of the potential project. The group plans to spend several months in feasibility mode, during which there will be a process of public consultation and a further announcement will be made when appropriate.
