Whisky & Cheese

A visit to our part of the Highlands wouldn’t be complete without sampling a dram or two.

We are fortunate to enjoy a close relationship with our local distilleries, which include world class options including Clynelish, Balblair, Dalmore, Glenmorangie, and the recently reopened Brora.

They are a fabulous destination to head to, whether guests are looking to enjoy a full tour, or just sample a dram and indulge in a little souvenir shopping. Guest transportation both to and from the distilleries can be arranged by our Reservations Team.

The Highlands is home to some of the UK’s finest producers, and one of our favourite ways to sample this produce is with a fine Highlands Cheese Tasting. Arranged in partnership with Highland Fine Cheeses, guests can enjoy pairings of delicious traditional Crowdie, Black Crowdie, Caboc, Morangie & Highland Brie, Strathdon Blue, Blue Murder, Fat Cow and Minger cheese varieties alongside thoughtfully chosen drams.
