Brora Golf Course

Described as “the best traditional links course in the world, and certainly Braids finest” by Five-time Open champion Peter Thomson, Brora is just a 20 minute drive north. Perhaps the Highlands’ best kept secret, Brora’s course can be considered as a quintessential links course, with undulating fairways, and spectacular beachside holes.

Tain Golf Course

With panoramic views across the Dornoch Firth, Tain is located just across the water from Links House (although only a 15 minute drive). Founded in 1890, and originally designed by Old Tom Morris, the course now enjoys a full 18 holes, of which 11 of Morris’ remain, and the course skillfully combines links and heathland play. A challenging course, it is well placed to enjoy a post-round tipple thanks to the nearby Glenmorangie Distillery.
