Sporting Bothy at Links House
The ideal base for the ultimate sporting getaway.
Just a few metres from the first tee at Royal Dornoch Golf Club and perched on the edge of our own putting green, guests will find our specially constructed Sporting Bothy. Developed with a design sympathetic to Links House’s heritage, use of the Bothy is available at no extra charge.
Whether guests are bringing their own golf clubs, fishing rods or other kit, we can provide secure storage so that they’re well taken care of for the duration of their stay. We also have two sets of clubs available for hire.
With room for up to 30 sets of clubs, our Sporting Bothy can host both individuals and group equipment, and there is plenty of space for guests to change prior to a round. Those looking to practise their game prior to setting off are catered to with our putting green which is only a few steps away.
Our sporting bothy is also equipped for the non golfer. Guests wishing to angle their experience towards fishing have access to first class Scott Mackenzie rods, reels and a selection of flies. Links House also has access to the Oykel River for one week a year in Autumn. Also available are Links House’s own mountain bikes, plus painting and drawing materials.
