Our Apartments at Links House

Our Bespoke Apartments offer the finest accommodation in the Highlands. The Mallart enjoys the penthouse level of our Glenshiel House, with stunning views over Royal Dornoch and the Dornoch Firth. The Laxford apartment, located on the ground floor of the Mews, is ideal for couples or young families and has easy access to all other areas of Links House including the car park.

The Mallart Apartment located on the top floor of Glenshiel, also has its own private balcony, with seating area, with superb views over the Dornoch Firth in all directions.

The Mallart is located on the top floor of our new Late Victorian-styled Glenshiel, opened in 2017, with views out over Royal Dornoch and the Dornoch Firth. And the Laxford is located on the ground floor of our Mews opened in 2013, over-looking our private putting green.

Our beds are proudly made by Hypnos™, by royal warrant to H.M. Queen Elizabeth and bed maker to all of the Royal residences, adorned with the finest Italian 5-point bed linens, that will send even the most travel weary guest into a happy slumber.

And we pride ourselves on our Italian marble bathroom suites with heated floors and towel racks, invigorating full-pressure showers, deep inviting bathtubs, plush luxurious bath towels, endless supplies of hot water, and even Arran Aromatics toiletries.

The only conundrum is that rooms this nice will prove hard to leave.

Located on the top floor of Glenshiel, with the most expansive sea views of the entire Dornoch Firth, The Mallart is the exquisite luxury apartment. The private library with period peat-burning fireplace is pine-panelled with honesty bar, writing desk, period antiques, original artwork and a gorgeous outdoor breakfast porch. The expansive full-service Kitchen, Breakfast Room and Great Room are perfect for long quiet afternoons watching The Open on the large screen TV. The Master Bedroom Suite, our absolute finest, offers complete elegance, comfort and seclusion. The Master Bathroom has both a spacious bathtub and large walk-in shower. The Mallart is perfect for longer staying guests seeking a home away from home.

Our Laxford Apartment, set in our Mews, offers superb living space with tranquil views across our private putting green, just steps from Royal Dornoch’s 1st tee.

The Laxford enjoys a spacious Library and Sitting Room with period antiques and artwork. The full-service Kitchen is perfect for the extended stay guests and the Bedroom suite offers large closets and ultimate comfort. This stunning one bedroom apartment is perfect for couples seeking an indulgent and romantic hideaway.
