Where Cask Meets Links is the opening chapter in The Anteroom Experience: Five Senses Series - a limited collection of intimate, chef-led experiences at Links House, each exploring one of the senses through food, drink and craft.

This first experience, TASTE, brings together rare Gordon & MacPhail whiskies and seasonally led cuisine in The Anteroom. Hosted by Stephen Rankin, Director of Prestige at Gordon & MacPhail, and Theo Creton, Head Chef at Links House, the weekend explores flavour, time and craftsmanship - where food and whisky exist as a single conversation.

This is not a traditional tasting. It is an unhurried, immersive gathering shaped by patience, storytelling and respect for craft.

The experience

At the heart of the weekend is The Anteroom Experience - TASTE: a candlelit tasting menu by Theo Creton, paired with rare whiskies hosted by Stephen Rankin. Pacing is intentional. Courses arrive when ready. Glasses are poured when the moment calls for them.

Around this core evening, the weekend unfolds through moments of Highland craft and calm, from glassblowing and candle-making to time on the links and unhurried hospitality.
