Step into the garden, pull up a chair, and let the Highlands do the rest. The Patio at MARA is our relaxed outdoor escape – a space where oysters meet Champagne, fried chicken meets fizz, and long lunches casually slip into early evening spritzes.

No bookings, no pressure, just great local food, cold drinks, and the easy charm of Dornoch in the sun. Bring your friends, bring your dog, or just bring your appetite – we’ll take care of the rest. Just crisp Champagne, ice-cold beers, and a little something fried, salty or citrusy to go with it.

• No reservations needed – walk-ins welcome

• Group Enquiries of 6+ – Due to the nature of our Patio space, we would highly recommend contacting our Guest Relations team on 01862 810279 in order to avoid any disappointment

• Dogs welcome – four-legged guests encouraged

• Special events & live music – select summer dates, keep an eye on socials

• Dietary Requirements – We’re unable to adapt our small garden menu to specific dietary requirements. However, our Champagne is fully vegan and vegetarian-friendly.
