A Set Menu to Share | 13–15 February

This Valentine’s Weekend, MARA invites you to slow the pace and settle in for an elegant three-course dinner, created to be shared and remembered. Over three evenings, Chef presents a Valentine’s Set Menu that balances comfort, seasonality, and quiet indulgence, beginning with a glass of Crémant de Bourgogne and unfolding course by course.

The Experience

Your evening begins with Chef’s snacks and a chilled glass of Crémant de Bourgogne, setting the tone for a relaxed and romantic night ahead.

For your starter, choose between:

  • Portmahomack Crab Bisque with fennel, dill, and chilli, or

  • Jerusalem Artichoke Velouté with bay leaf, black pepper, and hazelnut

At the heart of the menu sits Chef’s signature:

  • Beef Wellington, served with fondant potato, kale, and jus, or

  • Beetroot Wellington, offering a beautifully balanced vegetarian alternative

To finish, a classic and celebratory finale:

  • Vanilla Soufflé with rose ice cream

A thoughtful, seasonal menu, designed to be enjoyed together.

  • Price: £100 per person

  • This menu is pre-order only and not available on the evening

  • Orders must be placed a minimum of 48 hours in advance, allowing the kitchen time to prepare each element with care

Optional Enhancements

On the evening, guests may choose to elevate their experience further with optional additions, including:

  • Orkney oysters to accompany your Crémant

  • A Highland Fine Cheese board for two to conclude the evening
