Tìr at Links House

Fire, flavour and long afternoons in the sun.

Tìr, the Gaelic word for land and earth, is a relaxed outdoor dining experience set on the terrace at Links House at Royal Dornoch. Open on select days throughout the season, Tìr brings together fire, flavour and long afternoons in the Highland sun.

At the heart of it all is the wood-fired grill. Steaks, chicken, and kebabs cooked over an open flame, served simply with bold house sauces, warm flatbreads, and dishes built for sharing.

From the grill come generous sides for the table: coal-roasted potatoes, dressed seasonal salads and punchy pickles designed to be passed around with a drink in hand.

The drinks are cold, refreshing and made for never ending afternoons outside. Spritzes, local beers, chilled wines and alcohol-free options, all chosen to suit the terrace and the season.

Tìr is as much about atmosphere as it is about the food.

Dog-friendly, laid-back and centred around fire and flavour, it’s a place to gather after a day on the course, after a walk, or simply to meet with friends and family. Share plates, order another round and enjoy the simple pleasure of food cooked over flame in the open air.

No sun, no grill. If the sun’s out, so are we.

No bookings, just BBQ!
